The story of Henriques & Henriques, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques, dates back to 1850. After his death in 1912, a partnership was established between his two sons, Francisco Eduardo and Joaquim Henriques, which gave rise to the name Henriques & Henriques .
From the earliest times, Henriques & Henriques occupied a prominent place in viticulture and the art of making wine. In 1913 the family interests were constituted in a company of the family that, in 1925, began its activity like exporter of its wines to the detriment of the local supply to other exporters

Color with golden hues with orange nuances. Aroma of very mature tropical fruit, passion fruit, pineapple and banana. Vanilla laced with notes of green pepper and caramelized fruits. In the mouth it is lush, with excellent acidity and a long finish

Vinification
Was subjected to a process of fermentation and maceration of the musts, only using natural yeasts at a temperature of 20 ° C in stainless steel vats. Interruption of the fermentation was induced with the addition of brandy

              <p>On the palate, Cossard Gordon almsey 10 Years Old Madeira presents a warm chestnut colour with golden highlights. Aromas are rich and complex, featuring dried fruits, toffee and spices. The flavour is sweet, concentrated and full in the mouth, with layers of mellow fruits, citrus-like orange notes and spice, finishing long and delicious. It has an alcohol content of 19%, high residual sugar (~115 g/L) and total acidity of 6.5 g/L (tartaric). It is excellent with desserts, rich chocolate puddings, fruit-based sweets or cheeses, and remains stable for several months after opening.</p>
