With an ABV of 20%, volatile acidity of 0.9 g/L, total acidity of 8.85 g/L (tartaric), and residual sugar around 54 g/L, it strikes a rare balance between bone-dry freshness and sophisticated richness.
Visually, Cossart Gordon Sercial Vintage 1985 displays a golden topaz colour with old-gold reflections. On the nose, expect aromas of exotic smoky wood, very old brandy, and warming spices. Its palate is dry and fresh with razor-sharp acidity and a long, lingering finish featuring walnuts, aged brandy, and balsamic notes.
