AdegaMãe Arinto is a remarkable white wine from Portugal's Lisbon region, produced by AdegaMãe. This wine pays homage to the Lisbon terroir and highlights the Arinto grape, one of Portugal's most extraordinary white varieties, for its unique expression in this Atlantic climate. It is a single-varietal wine, made 100% from the Arinto grape, cultivated in clay-limestone soils in the Torres Vedras sub-region. The winemaking process is carefully managed to enhance the grape's intrinsic freshness and minerality, including total destemming, light pressing, cold decantation, and fermentation in stainless steel vats. Some editions also benefit from battonage on fine lees, contributing to its complexity and mouthfeel.
AdegaMãe Arinto, presents an attractive and bright straw lemon color. The aroma is clean, fresh, and mineral, with delicate notes of orange blossom, reminiscent of silex and wet stone, and hints of citrus peel. On the palate, it reveals a lively and crisp acidity, very refreshing and characteristic of the Arinto grape. The fruit evolves pleasantly, with a firm structure and a "full" mouthfeel. The finish is lively, crunchy, lemony, and persistent, full of acidity. Its vibrant acidity and mineral profile make it an excellent gastronomic partner, ideal for seafood, sushi, grilled or baked fish, lightly seasoned white meat dishes, and fresh salads.
