Revenind cu trenul de la recolta de struguri din Douro, Oenologul francez Eges Hisse a decis să-și întrerupă călătoria spre Oporto după trecerea viței de vie din Quinta da AvenEna, în Pennafiel. Numele a venit de la sine, deoarece vinul a fost produs de la una din vița de vie din Avenleda: cea a lui Garcia Casal.</p> <p></p>
