Inesperado Red is a wine of unequalled elegance, great depth and immense freshness.
In the oldest wine region in the world, the Quinta da Penalva or Perdiz was born in the 1990s. This arose from the joining of small plots of land, mostly old vines, inherited from ancestors for whom the cultivation of vines was of little secret, as they had always done it. Later, and already with the current owner, more parcels were added, thus joining the old vines to new plantations, cultivated using the most recent planting techniques
<p></p><p><span>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</span></p> <p><span><span>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</span></span></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Rede Rosé wine is a very expressive wine, composed by Touriga Nacional (60%), Touriga Franca (15%) and Tinta Amarela (15%) grape varieties. It presents aromas of red fruits wrapped in a lively and balanced acidity. Although light, it is intense and dry with a fresh and harmonious finish. 50% of its wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Pessegueiro Plenitude presents deep ruby colour. Gum rockrose aromas with an initial hints of berries, followed by flavours of ripe blackberries and blueberries, ending with a slightly spice, balsamic touch. The tannins are present but elegantly in this full-bodied wine with great volume, very well-integrated wooden notes, and a long, very persistent finish</p>
<p></p><p>Busto Reserva White Wine presents bright citrus colour, intense aroma with notes of citrus fruit and a soft floral touch. On the palate it's fresh, persistent and has excellent volume</p>
<p></p><p>The philosophy of Luis Seabra Wines is encapsulated in the Cru brand. The purpose of Seabra is to make wines from specific vineyards with minimal intervention, raw and pure wines</p>
<p></p><p><span>Nuno Aguiar (winemaker, former collaborator of Anselmo Mendes) and António Olazabal Ferreira (marine biologist in accelerated conversion to winemaker) have launched a wine called Boina, the first one is from 2015 and has a very appealing aesthetic. A series of wines that the duo began to produce in the Douro and in Trás-os-Montes, under the Portugal Boutique Winery project. The brand Boina groups the wines without wood of the Douro.</span></p>
