Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of Douro valley and owned by Amorim family since 1999. But the «quinta» is much earlier than this and history confirms it as a great land belonging to the Portuguese Royal House, having been identified its first owner in 1725.

Mirabillis, Quinta Nova Vintage, Pomares, Grainha and Quinta Nova Red and White wine

Quinta do Javali Maria Luisa Red Wine lingers in the mouth, leaving in our memory the echo of something very special. The tannins are well integrated, and combine structure and elegance in an incomparable symbiosis. The fruity component of the wine reappears, in a whirlwind of tastes which once again confirms the complexity which is so characteristic of an old wine

Coliseu Limited Edition Red Wine presents opaque, with vibrant shades of deep violet. Excellent complexity and aromatic intensity, with fresh aromas of Douro berries in perfect harmony with elegant floral notes and soft hints of fresh spice. The palate is elegant and enveloping, quickly evolving into a wine of great size and excellent power, with fine-textured round tannins in perfect harmony with fresh notes of wild berries. It finishes balanced and very persistent. A distinctive and very seductive wine that will evolve in the bottle for many years to come

In the oldest wine region in the world, the Quinta da Penalva or Perdiz was born in the 1990s. This arose from the joining of small plots of land, mostly old vines, inherited from ancestors for whom the cultivation of vines was of little secret, as they had always done it. Later, and already with the current owner, more parcels were added, thus joining the old vines to new plantations, cultivated using the most recent planting techniques
