<p>Produced from a blend of Rabigato, Viosinho and Gouveio. The grapes come from Provesende (20%) and the Murça area (80%)</p> <p>Fermentation in stainless steel vats for 20 days at a temperature of 15ºC (70% of the blend). Fermentation in new 500-litre French oak casks (30% of the blend)Ageing: 30% of the blend is aged for 8 months in the 500-litre casks.</p>

<p></p><p>Menin Touriga Franca is a wine with a very balanced profile between wild red fruits (red currants, red plums), black cherries, forest fruits and spices from the stage in barrel increase the complexity of the whole. In the mouth, it stands out as a wine with extreme finesse that is not usually found among its peers.</p>
<p></p><p>Citrine and bright color presents a young, fresh and exquisite aroma to white pear and white plum blossoms. Balanced acidity in the mouth and a mineral surrounding sensation.</p>
<p></p><p>The production of wines is a familiar tradition for Domingos Alves de Sousa: his father and grandfather had already been Douro winemakers.</p>
<p></p><p>The Quinta do Filoco vineyards produce the best nectars of the Douro region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyards and the Cellar were being modernized with new equipment, combining tradition and modernity in the well know how to make wine. The vineyards stretched along 130 hectares, surrounded by thickets with typically Mediterranean vegetation that contribute to the unique terroir of the Filoco wines.</p>
