A fost gestionarea actuală care a decis să preia provocarea care este implicată în crearea unui vin propriu de brand. 1997 a fost anul noului început al companiei, cu vinuri roșii, cu vin roșu "Terras do Po Tinto", fiind primul care a fost produs și îmbuteliat în incinta vinăriei Ermelinda Freitas.</p>
