<p></p><p>The history of the 100HECTARES wines begins in the early 70’s.</p> <p>The estates of the family are the origin of their wines, and the production is made exclusively from grapes coming from their properties, which is at the heart of the family’s production philosophy</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Plansel are situated about 100km from Lisbon, in the southeastern part of the city of Montemor-o-Novo. They have around 75 hectares of vineyards that are an integral part of the DOC area of Évora</p>
<p></p><p>The wine production in this place dates back at least to the 18th century. But it was in 2003 that there was the rebirth of the current Quinta dos Abibes whose terroir is already an inescapable symbol of Bairrada</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Alameda Red Wine reflects the tradition, history and origin of the wines from Quinta da Alameda de Santar. Prolonged aging in French oak barrels (400 liters) and two years in the bottle brings out the personality, strength and elegance of a wine that is here to stay. With aromas of intense fruit, light vanilla and spices, the palate reveals a marked acidity, reminiscent of the granite soil and the freshness of the forest surrounding the vineyard.</p> <p>It's fruity, with notes of red fruit, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries, a light floral touch, very complex, transmitted by the diversity of the old vines. The wood is subtle, making the wine sweet, very delicate and with the robustness and tenacity of a great Dão wine. Dão. Intense on the palate, very long and with well tannins. This wine has a balance that leaves you take mouthful after mouthful without tiring the palate</p>
<p></p><p>The wine that gave origin to this winery was the "Druida", back in 2012, and all the wines that followed are true to its original idea. The Druida were wise men of Celtic origin who sought to attain spiritual balance throught nature's equilibrium. <br />Druida and Vidente wines are just that, a pursuit for balance with the utmost respect for nature. This is a personal project driven by passion for wines, where the grapes are the real stars and winemaking is of minimal intervention. Dão is the main region and base of the Mira do Ó wines, the home fo the Druida and Vidente</p>
<p></p><p>Ribeiro Santo Rabo de Ovelha White Wine is carectirized for balsamic aroma of wild berries, with some tabacco notes. Delicate with acidity in harmony with elegancy. Soft wine with persistent yet light finish. Goes well with grilled fish, meat and cheese</p>
<p></p><p><span>This wine results from the combination of the four main grape varieties of the Dão region: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen. Deep ruby coloured with an intense aroma of wild berries and bergamot. In the mouth it is full-bodied, without losing its elegance. The aftertaste is long and complex</span></p>
<p></p><p>Vinhas da Teixuga Red Wine has intense aromas of red fruit, jam and spices. On the palate it is fresh, elegant and flavoursome, with fine, silky tannins supported in a subtle way by the tannins from the barrel, making it eminently gastronomic.</p> <p>Harmonises with Arouquesa veal, baked codfish and roast sardines.</p>
