Quinta do Poço do Lobo Reserva Rosé , produced by Caves São João in Portugal’s Bairrada DOC, is crafted from a balanced blend of 50% Baga and 50% Pinot Noir. Harvesting takes place in late August for the Pinot Noir and early September for the Baga. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in a combination of seasoned oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Following alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes battonage for five months, imparting complexity and texture
Visually, it displays a very pale salmon (partridge-eye) hue. The nose is elegant and complex, with aromas of fresh red berries, dried flower petals, and a subtle mineral note. On the palate, it is bone-dry, exceptionally fresh, and persistent, offering great finesse and structure. Serve chilled between 10–12 °C, and pair with canapés, seafood, or lean meats
