<p></p><p>Mainada Baga Red Wine shows medium intensity nose, earth and black pepper notes. The mouth shows fresh attack where this red fruit is repeat with an earthy flavour and long lasting</p> <p>Planted on soil characterised by schist and granite, the grapes are from an integrated production system and are harvested according to their perfect state of ripeness. The grapes were harvested by hand, in 20kg boxes, and at night, providing a more careful selection and better preservation of the aromas. In the cellar, they pass through the sorting table where a rigorous selection is made, and then they enter the fermentation vats by gravity. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation. Little intervention throughout the process and low sulphur content.</p>

<p></p><p>Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999 at Quinta do Côtto, and later worked as an oenologist at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Douro. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, namely Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha.</p>

<p></p><p>Scala Coeli Reserva was obtained from the best vinifications of the harvest, using less traditional grape varieties in the region. In 2019 it resulted from the vinification of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, harvested on 27 August. On that day, the grapes were carefully harvested and taken to the winery, where cold pre-fermentation maceration took place, followed by alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 28ºC and prolonged maceration.
