<p>Casal Garcia sa născut în 1939, un an în care vintage era deosebit de bună. Revenind cu trenul de la recolta de struguri din Douro, Oenologul francez Eges Hisse a decis să-și întrerupă călătoria spre Oporto după trecerea viței de vie din Quinta da AvenEna, în Pennafiel. Numele a venit de la sine, deoarece vinul a fost produs de la una din vița de vie din Avenleda: cea a lui Garcia Casal.</p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>Quinta do Mouro is located at the gates of the city of Estremoz, and belonged for centuries to the Zagalos family, one of the wealthiest in town. This original "quinta" in Alentejo, where the vast estates dominate, has an 18th century grooved house, charming gardens, bowls and 18th century tanks. In 1979, at the age of 26, luck dictated Miguel Louro's fate at a poker table, among friends, when he had the dilemma of buying a Porsche or Quinta do Mouro. The first hectares of vineyard would be planted in 1989, after a failed incursion into cattle breeding, and today he is one of the most iconic wine producers in the region.</p> <p></p>

With a seductive and fresh finish.</p> <p>Grapes from previously selected plots, transported in 22 kg boxes, were subjected to rigorous sorting at the winery reception. After the grapes were destemmed, slightly crushed, and then gently pressed, in pneumatic presses. The must was transferred to a stainless-steel vat where it remained at a temperature of 8ºC for 48 hours until it was decanted. Alcoholic fermentation took place in a stainless-steel vat with a controlled temperature of 14º C during a 30 days period.</p>
