Quinta do Ventozelo is one of the largest and oldest Douro Quintas. It has been passing through different hands over the centuries, hands that shaped it and transformed it to what it is today.

Situated about 80 kms north of Lisbon, on the left bank of the Tagus River, the Herdade de Muge belongs to the family Álvares Pereirade Mello (Cadaval) almost four centuries ago

Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous Quintas in the Douro Valley. It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antia Adelaide Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents.

The Symington family, with Scottish, English and Portuguese ancestry has been present in the Douro for five generations — since 1882 — and through the current generation’s great grandmother, the family’s links to the wines of the Douro span 14 generations, to the mid-17th century and to the very beginnings of the history of Port

Quinta dos Termos is situated in the center of Portugal, on the slopes of the South slope of Serra da Estrela (highest mountain of Portugal - 2,000 m), thus protected from the cold north winds and sunny by its exposure to the South, reaching temperatures in the summer sometimes higher than 50ºC, which leads to a higher degree of maturation, giving rise to complex, aromatic wines of good consistency

Given the producer's passion for Burgundy and German white wines, there are also two small plots with the Chardonnay and Riesling varieties. The viticulture is made in total respect for the environment, without chemical fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides. The winery is modern and minimalist wine production, in order to respect and give identity to the wines produced.

Very intense aroma, almost explosive, wild fruits and spices with notes of licorice in perfect balance with discreet hints of vanilla and toasted oak barrel. Sweet attack on the mouth, with great volume, we feel the vibrant notes of fruit and spices that we feel in the nose, with very voluminous and smooth tannins, with long and persistent finish. Ready to drink
