This wine is the perfect example of a great wine from Douro region.

Fraga do Calvo wines are the purest expression of the Douro terroir, a place that holds in itself a peculiar combination of factors: soil, climate, grape varieties and the work of Man.

The main objective of Quinta do Vale Meão is to exploit to the maximum, for the originality and complexity of its wines, the combination of the different traditional varieties of the Douro, from separate plots and the different styles that result from the geological variety of its soils. The Fifth privileges the combination of the traditional method of vinification in lagares with the modern technologies.

Secret Spot is a project by Gonçalo Sousa Lopes and Rui Cunha that aims to produce wines from a single vineyard that has the potential to originate a wine of unique qualities.

This company is based in the beautiful estate Quinta da Silveira, one of the oldest in the production of Port wines in the Douro Superior region, the Municipality of Torre de Moncorvo, and the parish of Adeganha.

The company also owns Quinta do Tourão, with vines of enormous quality, in the same Vilariça Valley, which, due to environmental concern we are preparing for Biological production.

Morgadio da Calçada is one of the 13 manor houses that tell the stories of the major Port wine producers of Provesende. Surrounded by terraces covered in vineyards and olive trees, the house takes us on a comfortable and refined journey back to the 17th century

Poças Fora da Serie Acrobata white wine is produced from the Portuguese grape varieties Códega, Arinto and Rabigato. Long aged in old barrel under a thin “flor” layer, showing the perfect balance between the oxidative profile that results from the prolonged aging and the freshness from high-altitude vineyards

The Alves de Sousa family has long traditions in the production of Port Wine. It was up to Domingos Alves de Sousa, a great lord of the Douro, to launch quiet wines in the 90s. Since then, some of the best topos of the region are his responsibility, seconded by his son Tialgo Alves Sousa

Barão da Várzea do Douro White Wine is made with grapes of Gouveio, Viosinho and Arinto varieties from vines planted in fine soils with schistose fragments. The aroma presents citrus notes with sensations of white plum and floral nuances. In the mouth it’s fruity and vibrant, fresh, crisp and young. The citrus peel hints give persistence and a long and refreshing finish.
