The brothers Antonio and Edmar Monteiro are the founders of the 1912 Winemakers company.
The passion for the world of wine comes early in the life of these two brothers, who since childhood helped their father at the Quinta de São Bernardo property on the banks of the Douro River.
Later they acquired Quinta de Águas, which allowed them to increase production but maintaining the same quality as the wines produced

The nobleness of the castes Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, associated to the ground and the agro-climatic complex of the region has given Quinta Seara d’Ordens Reserva Red wine personality and a unique character.

Quinta do Pôpa tells us the story of how Zeca do Pôpa fulfilled his dream, of how throughout his life he carried his father Francisco Ferreira’s dream, also known as Pôpa

The Quinta do Cume wines were born on the slopes of the ancient land of Provezende, a historic village on the right bank of the Douro River in the heart of the Douro wine region

Mãos Signature Ricardo Red Wine is exclusively made with Touriga Franca grapes variety.

In Douro Lands, with a strong incidence in Baixo Corgo, the 4 brothers from a traditional family joined their knowledge and passion for the region, in the creation of "MÃOS". From selected grapes from their 130 hectares, a quality wine is born with character and the scent of the Douro.

Quinta da Rede, located in the parish of Santa Cristina, has its oldest historical records dating back to 1484, making it part of the Douro Wine Region even before the demarcation of 1756, carried out by Marquês de Pombal under authorization of king D. José I

At Quinta das Carvalhas, Touriga Nacional is the most planted grape varietal, representing 25ha of the total 135ha area of vineyards.
