The indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, for the reds and Gouveio, Rabigato and Viosinho for white, allow them to achieve all the personality and character of the terroirs of the Douro. Combining cutting-edge winemaking with the traditional foot treading in granite mills (lagares), the aim is to produce wines with excellent value money with recognized quality worldwide, international profile and the nature of their homeland. <p></p><p>On the nose, very fresh and elegant with notes of wild berries and black cherries balanced with seductive nuances of licorice, the scent being replete with discrete wooden notes. In the mouth, it is very concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and soft texture, very intense finish and persists to show strongly the strength of the wines of the Alto Douro.</p>

<p></p><p>Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999 at Quinta do Côtto, and later worked as an oenologist at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Douro. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, namely Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha.</p>
