Quinta do Ventozelo is one of the largest and oldest Douro Quintas. It has been passing through different hands over the centuries, hands that shaped it and transformed it to what it is today.

Then they are pressed in a vertical press and then the must ferments and ages for 8 months in a cement vat</p>

<p></p><p>The first ODISSEIA wines were produced in 2004 but Jean-Hugues Gros had already been working in the Douro region since 1999.</p> <p>He has found in the Douro region a wine making potential that allows the development of a wide variety of elegant and versatile <em>terroir</em> wines.</p>
<p></p><p>Four young brothers from Mesão Frio joined hands to create a wine-producing company that already has 150 hectares, spread over seven farms in the Douro Demarcated Region and launched the first wine at the end of 2011.<br />Roberto, Ricardo, Rafael and Rudolfo, with 33, 29, 26 and 23 years, make up the R4 Douro Family.</p>
