<p></p><p><span>“Batuta”, meaning the baton used by an orchestral conductor, proved to be the perfect name. This wine produced by Niepoort<span> result of a delicate vinification process, with long maceration but little extraction, where all the details are carefully considered in order to obtain a complex, fine and elegant wine. It has plenty of concentration from the old Douro vineyards, yet it is fresh and delicate</span></span></p> <p></p>
<p>Made from a blend of the Viosinho, Gouveio and Rabigato grape varieties.</p> <p>After 2 days of decanting at 10ºC, fermentation in stainless steel vats for 20 days at a temperature of 15ºC. Ageing: 30% of the blend is aged in new 500 litre French oak casks.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta de Sá de Baixo is located in Sedielos, municipality of Peso da Régua. </p> <p>The white wines, fermented at low temperatures with total destemming, are subject to less ageing and are bottled young, in order to preserve the balance between acidity and fruit achieved during vinification.</p>
<p>Crasto Altitude Red Wine displays a bright garnet color and a refined nose with notes of red berries, forest herbs, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and elegant, with silky tannins, good volume, and a long, clean finish. With moderate alcohol (12.5%) and lively acidity, <strong>Crasto Altitude 430</strong> is a sophisticated expression of high-altitude Douro terroir, emphasizing finesse over power.</p>

Engaging and fresh beginning that leads to a serious wine. Voluminous on the palate, with fresh, finely-textured tannins, and intense notes of red berry fruit with soft chocolate hints. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior).
