This wine is made from cool climate grapes grown in the mountainous Melgaço area, and shows the typical minerality and tight acidity derived from the local stony granite soils.</p>

<p></p><p>Cazas Novas is a project which brings together four entrepreneurs linked to the wine sector - Carlos Coutinho, Diogo Lopes, Vasco Magalhães and André Miranda - which aims to show the various 'faces' of Avesso, born in the 24 hectares of this variety in Quinta das Cazas Novas, Quinta de Guimarães and adjacent vineyards, with different exposures and altitudes, in what is the sub-region of excellence for the expression of this variety.</p> <p></p>
