<p></p><p>It is within the genuine Alentejo, with unique aromas, flavors and textures, of nature, of silence and of immensity, that extend the 80 hectares of vineyard of Herdade Monte da Cal, about 40 km from Portalegre.<br />Surrounded by the tranquility of the north Alentejo plain, it is inserted in the calm environment of the characteristic nature of this zone of the country, surrounded by the infinity of vineyards</p>
<p></p><p>In Zambujeira do Mar, where the high temperatures of the Alentejo are mitigated by the Atlantic, the concentration typical of inland viticulture is balanced by the freshness and humidity of the sea, leading to ideal maturation. The grapes ripen, thus, in a slow and balanced way, with cool and wet winters, mild summers and the constant presence of the sea winds, creating wines where elegance overrides robustness.</p>
<p></p><p>Monte Velho was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience.</p>
<p></p><p>This is the result of the perfect combination of Trincadeira and Grand Noir grape varieties, from the old red vineyard planted in the land back in 1901. It has a concentrated ruby colour and a very complex aroma, with soft balsamic and notes of woods, with black fruit, rock-rose, earth and a vibrant vegetable. When subject to tasting this is concentrated and deep wine, highly structured, with present and extremely elegant tannins. The fruit, minerality and balanced acidity provide a very long and persistent finish, full of character.</p>
<p>Fundação Eugénio Almeida EA Biológico White Wine displays a bright citrine color with greenish reflections. Its aromatic profile is fresh and vibrant, with notes of citrus and tropical fruits like pineapple. On the palate, it stands out for its freshness and balanced acidity, culminating in an elegant finish. It is a light and aromatic wine, ideal for pairing with fish, seafood, and salads. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.</p> <p></p> <p> </p> <p></p>
