Five generations to make wine, and now the fourth and fifth to work together. In this genealogical place Quinta de Vale Escadinhas, from where the Quinta da Falcaça wines come out - the second name belongs to one of the vineyards and, to be easier to say, gives ownership to the labels. The Falorca are Figueiredo, father and son: Carlos, 78, and Pedro, 48. The father always lived and worked in the vineyards, but Pedro studied Management in Lisbon and made a career in the financial area, in big companies, until he decided to change everything by returning to the cradle, assuming the commercial direction of the family business.
Father and son reclaimed vineyards, built the wine cellar, and created a range of wines.
