<p>Wine appears in the Ramilo family by the hand of the great-grandfather, Manuel Francisco Ramilo, who, in the early twentieth century, devoted much of its land area to wine production. Four generations later, unwilling to accept the abandonment of local traditions, brothers Pedro and Nuno Ramilo left their confortable lives to embrace a family business.The brothers are now on the verge of becoming the largest private producer of the world famous Ramisco from Colares</p>

<p>Quinta da Nogueira vineyards are in clayey soils, with a natural freshness and salinity, without irrigation, uniques, marked by the influence of a natural microclimate at the foot of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo (“All-the-World Mountain”) and by the proximity to the Atlantic sea, which is 20 km away. In the approximately 20 hectares of vineyards at Quinta do Porto Nogueira - with DOC Óbidos classification - each parcel of vineyard is treated and valued as unique and different, and all them wines are produced with the pleasure and well-being of those who enjoy them.</p> <p>Currently, Quinta do Porto Nogueira vineyards are conducted in Biological Production mode.</p>
