Tasting Notes
Intense red color with violet hues. Fine and elegant bouquet, with blackberry, cherry fruit aromas and dark chocolate notes. Full bodied with excellent freshness and a superb soft silky texture.
Vinification
The LBV 2007 from Christie’s Port Wine and Shippers, was made from Ports of the 2007 harvest.
Ageing
In oak casks for four years.

    <p>Grapes from several quality vineyards of the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and Prazeres area were used. Pressed grapes in pneumatic press. Interruption of fermentation by the addition of wine alcohol (96%). Tinta Negra and Verdelho stagiados in Canteiro during 5 years in French oak casks. For this lot we select wines from our warehouses, whose stable temperatures throughout the year originated this wine with balanced sugar levels and acidity.</p>
