<p>The grapes used for the Redoma White come from old vines growing on the right bank of the Douro River, at an altitude of 500 to 600 metres. The predominant grape varieties are Rabigato, Cega do Larinho, Viosinho, Donzelinho and Gouveio. The mica schist soils in which these vines thrive lend the resulting wines plenty of minerality, elegance and vibrant freshness.</p>

<p>Quinta do Crasto Vinhas Velhas is deep ruby in colour. The nose shows a particular complexity, with notes of gum cistus and fresh spice, very well integrated with exuberant aromas of wild fruits. Elegant on the palate, rapidly evolving into a wine of excellent volume and a compact structure made of fresh, velvety-textured tannins. The finish is lingering and balanced. <p>The Crasto Red is made from traditional Douro red grape varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Franca. Unoaked, it is produced to be a fresh, fruity, easy-to-drink wine. This Douro wine has a deep ruby colour with very ripe red fruit aromas.
