<p>The founders of D’Oliveiras were visionaries that saw the true value of Madeira Wine: its ability to improve over time. Therefore they started storing as much Madeira Wine as possible, letting it slowly mature inside the barrels for future generations to be able to enjoy it further. For that reason, D’Oliveiras is the only Madeira Wine company that owns Madeira Wine bottles and Barrels from as far as the 1850’s that can still be commercially purchased.</p>

<p>Firmado Reserva White Wine has a very complex nose with pronounced fruit (mandarin, grapefruit, pear, pineapple), dried fruit (walnut, almond), mineral (gunpowder, sweet notes (cinnamon, ginger) and a slight vanilla. In the mouth, the definition of the pear, dried fruit and vanilla stand out. Slightly delicate tannins that add unctuousness and mouthfeel. It finishes long and persistent with a frank, salivating acidity.</p>

<p>Confirma-se is a wine from an old vineyard with red and white grapes mixed together. The nose is very expressive, with predominant notes of fresh red fruit (raspberry, strawberry, cherry), but surrounded by a fresh and seductive mineral aroma. In the mouth, the granite mill and wood ageing component comes through - a dry, structured wine with a wide mouth, tannins present and character. It finishes long and refreshing, with vibrant acidity and tannins that are present but soft.</p>
