<p>Palato do Coa started in 2007, when the winemaker Carlos Magalhães challenged 5 of his friends to buy Quinta da Saudade, located in the Douro Superior, Vila Nova de Foz Côa; considered by many one of the best terroir of the Douro region, in Portugal.
