<p>Quinta de Fafide is located on the outskirts of São João da Pesqueira on the River Torto at an average altitude of 550 meters. In this Quinta the grapes reach maturation without any sources of stress, either hydric or thermal, obtaining wines of unusual concentration and elegance.</p>
<p>The history of the family Vasques de Carvalho has roots as strong as a vine and is confused with the history of the Douro. Its origins date back to the mid-nineteenth century and the family wine company, which has always transformed its production into generous wine, selling part to the exporting houses and aging another part, adding value.</p>

<p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley.</p> <p>It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to its mouth and close to the town of Peso da Régua.</p> <p>It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains to this day in the hands of her descendants.</p>

<p>Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999 at Quinta do Côtto, and later worked as an oenologist at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Douro. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, namely Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha.</p>
<p>Monte da Capela was the result of the ingenuity, wisdom and accumulated experience of its members. The leadership of the largest companies in the wine industry and the promotion of the Alentejo was inspiring for the development of a personal project that took advantage of the best of Pias terroir and Alentejo castes for the creation of unique wines in concentration of color and aromas.</p>
