Red table wine made from 30 years old vines grown in Schistous soil. Maturity is achieved by an eight months rest in french oak barrels. It presents full bodied. Powerful high intensity tannins,showing throughout the tasting. Complex and persistent finish.
The Quinta de Val da Figueira is located on the right bank of the river Douro, close to the village of Pinhão in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Area. It is therefore situated in one of the areas that produces the best grapes for the production of Port and fine table wines internationally renowned for their quality.

<p>It has a well-colored, purple color, a very complex aroma where ripe fruit like blackberry and blackberry reigns.</p> <p>In the mouth it is fresh, with powerful tannin but mature and well harmonized with the toast provided by the finalized wood stage with an excellent velvety persistence.</p>

<p>The history of the family Vasques de Carvalho has roots as strong as a vine and is confused with the history of the Douro. Its origins date back to the mid-nineteenth century and the family wine company, which has always transformed its production into generous wine, selling part to the exporting houses and aging another part, adding value.</p>
<p><span>Vértice Grande Reserva White has a nose that initially is marked by toasted and buttery notes. It will gradually open to well ripened tropical fruits and fresh nuances of citrus. In the mouth it has a medium-full body, complex and creamy where its fine acidity gives a great liveliness to the wine. In the taste is worth highlighting the ripe fruit, a smoked and roasted note, a background marked by its spicy component, and a long and very persistent finish</span></p>
<p>In the 90's, one hundred hectares of Quinta do Noval were replanted, adapting the pruning methods to the needs of each plot. Currently, this estate has high quality grapes which, on the one hand, guarantee the excellence of Quinta do Noval's Port wines and, on the other hand, the production of Douro wines since 2004.</p>
