Intense purple red color. Aromas ripe red fruit and nuances of spicy toast. Harmonious and seductive, it is alive, with ripe tannins present, but well polished.

Vinification
The grapes were duly selected, de-stemmed and partially crushed, and the fermentation process was carried out afterwards for 15 days, completed with 8 days of maceration.
<p>Located in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta da Deserta has its vineyards rooted between the banks of the river Tavora and the river Douro, in schistose soils. The combination of very hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters results in low yields but with high quality grapes.<br />The products sold from Quinta da Deserta are certified.</p>
