The main objective of Quinta do Vale Meão is to exploit to the maximum, for the originality and complexity of its wines, the combination of the different traditional varieties of the Douro, from separate plots and the different styles that result from the geological variety of its soils. The Fifth privileges the combination of the traditional method of vinification in lagares with the modern technologies.

- Great lively colour. A very unique nose showing floral and citrus notes. In the mouth keeps the floral profile and shows a surprising softness. Has an extraordinary elegance, excellent acidity, with firm but elegant tannins
- Vinification
- After being crushed, the grapes were cooled down and trodden by foot during four hours in granite “lagares”, transferred to small old french oak wooden vat and fermented for 10 days with controlled temperature

- 15 months in used French Allier oak barriques(225 litters)
