Morgadio da Calçada is one of the 13 manor houses that tell the stories of the major Port wine producers of Provesende. Surrounded by terraces covered in vineyards and olive trees, the house takes us on a comfortable and refined journey back to the 17th century

- Tasting Notes
- An intense aroma with notes of citrus and white flowers. The palate is alive and full of complexity, while taking an extreme freshness. The fumed grades of wood are clearly present but being very well integrated with the wine and other flavorings
- Vinification
- The grapes were de-stemmed and gently pressed completely without maceration. The decantation was conducted by a 24 hour period at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. After this period the wine was transferred to French oak barrels
