Tasting Notes
Delicate aromas with subtle hints of violets and expressive fruits of the forest define the nose without hiding its vinous character. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, with fine tannins and a good mineral undercurrent
<p>Quinta do Crasto Vinhas Velhas is deep ruby in colour. The nose shows a particular complexity, with notes of gum cistus and fresh spice, very well integrated with exuberant aromas of wild fruits. Elegant on the palate, rapidly evolving into a wine of excellent volume and a compact structure made of fresh, velvety-textured tannins. The finish is lingering and balanced. A wine that mirrors the unique identity of the old vines of Quinta do Crasto</p> <p></p>
<p><span>Vertente is made from grapes from old vineyards and old vines planted on the slopes of the river Pinhão, where Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz are predominant. Made to be consumed young but it has great ageing potential</span></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p>Diálogo is a pleasant, easy drinking red wine, but with complexity, mineral notes and great depth, found in the classic Douro wines. It is produced from vineyards located in the Cima Corgo sub-region, being the main varieties, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Barroca. Its freshness and youth well integrated with soft tannins, make this wine, full of Douro character, a very pleasant wine to drink. The illustration of Luís Afonso tells stories on the labels of Diálogo since its very first edition</p>
