<p><span>On the hot plains of the Baixo Alentejo, just a few kilometres from the city of Beja, is one of the oldest wine estates in the region. Its vineyards represent decades of history that Henrique Uva has preserved and farmed for many years and which he always wanted to develop as an independent producer.</span><br /><span>In 2004, he achieved his dream, with the project that goes by the name of Henrique Uva/Herdade da Mingorra. The Winery is surrounded by 1,400 hectares of a landscape that can be considered exuberant, such is the diversity of plants and fauna, with several river basins forming veritable oases. The Winery is a true place of worship. A place where modernity and functionality can be found alongside indelible traditional techniques.</span></p>
<p>Quinta da Plansel are situated about 100km from Lisbon, in the southeastern part of the city of Montemor-o-Novo. They have around 75 hectares of vineyards that are an integral part of the DOC area of Évora</p> <p></p> <p></p>

<p>Quinta de São José de Peramanca is located five kilometres from Évora, on National Road 114. The large and traditional house, marked by baroque architecture, and the church of San José adjacent to it facilitate identification. With 34 hectares, the Quinta has in the manor house and in its vineyard its greatest patrimony.</p> <p>As for the peculiar name of the Quinta "Peramanca" (Pedra-Manca), it means "oscillating stone, not very safe", is explained by the existence in the region of large granite stones in oscillating balance. Since Roman times and over the centuries, the surroundings to the west of Évora have been considered as one of the most important regions producing quality wine, and the area has become known as "Terras de Peramanca", given the abundance of these oscillating stones.</p>
<p>From vine to bottle, our philosophy is based on quality rather than quantity. We believe that for this reason Quinta dos Vales has so quickly established itself as one of the leading producers in the Algarve wine market.</p>

<p>Quinta do Mouro is located at the gates of the city of Estremoz, and belonged for centuries to the Zagalos family, one of the wealthiest in town. This original "quinta" in Alentejo, where the vast estates dominate, has an 18th century grooved house, charming gardens, bowls and 18th century tanks. In 1979, at the age of 26, luck dictated Miguel Louro's fate at a poker table, among friends, when he had the dilemma of buying a Porsche or Quinta do Mouro. The first hectares of vineyard would be planted in 1989, after a failed incursion into cattle breeding, and today he is one of the most iconic wine producers in the region</p>
