<p>Acquired by Alexandre Relvas in 1997, Herdade is located in the county of Redondo and has about 175 ha of total area, of which 35 ha are of vines planted in loamy-clayey soils derived from shale. It also has 97 ha of cork oaks, planted between 1998 and 1999.</p> <p></p>
<p>Produced in Portalegre to the north east of the Alentejo on the granite foothills of the São Mamede mountains. The combination of cool, high altitude grapes and granite soils combine to give wines of great finesse with structure, intense aromas and freshness.</p>
<p>Quinta do Mouro is located at the gates of the city of Estremoz, and belonged for centuries to the Zagalos family, one of the wealthiest in town. This original "quinta" in Alentejo, where the vast estates dominate, has an 18th century grooved house, charming gardens, bowls and 18th century tanks. In 1979, at the age of 26, luck dictated Miguel Louro's fate at a poker table, among friends, when he had the dilemma of buying a Porsche or Quinta do Mouro. The first hectares of vineyard would be planted in 1989, after a failed incursion into cattle breeding, and today he is one of the most iconic wine producers in the region.</p> <p></p>
<p>Quinta do Zambujeiro is located about 170 km southeast of Lisbon, in the Alentejo. Emil Strickler a Swiss wine connoisseur bought the property in 1998. A team of experts, Nuno Malta, assisted by Winemaker and Winemaker Luis Lourinho and Globalwine AG's consultant oenologist, Alain Bramaz</p>
<p>Luisa Amorim discovered the Alentejo at an early age - where the greens and browns of the cork oak trees mixed with the holm oaks and olive trees, in an immense and seemingly infinite territory, as she stayed in the region before heading south for her summer holidays in the Algarve. In addition to cork, which plays a central role in her family universe, Luisa soon discovered that wine is one of her great passions. She later began to manage the Quinta Nova of Nossa Senhora do Carmo estate in the Douro and the Taboadella estate in the Dão region. Her family originally acquired the Herdade Aldeia de Cima estate in 1994. In 2017 she decided to rebuild the small village and plant a vineyard in the Serra do Mendro, which soon became a life project</p>
<p>For more than three centuries, the Paço do Conde Estate has been owned by the Castelo Branco family. The origin of one of the oldest agricultural enterprises in the country, founded in 1928 under the name Sociedade Agrícola Paço do Conde, is now managed by the current owners, José António Ferrão Castelo Branco, Luís Miguel Ferrão Castelo Branco and Maria Luísa Castelo Branco Schmidt, grandchildren of the founder.</p>
