Due to its exceptional terroir, is an area with a unique background in the production of high quality wines, full of character and is known for its famous wines made in clay pots. <p>André Herrera de Almeida started his activity as a winemaker in the final stage of his degree, after sharing harvests in both hemispheres he settled in Portugal where he gives oenological consultancy to four small producers in Alentejo.<br />Torero wines are produced in Murteirinha, André's family estate and are intended to be signature wines, with their own character, that do not want to occupy but share a space increasingly open to new challenges, and because the challenge is a characteristic of youth, the image is appealing to a market that is increasingly informed and global</p>
