Ruby hue with violet hints. Intense aroma of red and black forest fruits, harmoniously combined with floral and toasted notes. Smooth tanins, nice acidity, very juicy and fruity

Mechanical Harvested during the night. Total Destemming. Maceration before fermentation during 48h. Fermentation with controlled temperature (21ºC-25ºC) in stainless steel vats. Malolatic Fermentation in stainless still vats with oak staves

Is a Commercial Society by Quotas constituted by public deed, the 16 of December of 1968.<br />It is the result of the merger of two small producers who started their activities many years before 1968 and later created the firms Manuel Joaquim Mira and Domingos Luiz Pinto & Filho, Lda., Both with wide traditions in the wine field. Therefore, and as a result of such merger, SOVIBOR is managed by people traditionally linked to the wine business.</p>
<p>Casal Garcia was born in 1939, a year in which the vintage was particularly good. Returning by train from the grape harvest in the Douro, the French oenologist Euge Hisse decided to interrupt his journey to Oporto after passing the vines of the Quinta da Aveleda, in Penafiel. The name came about by itself, since the wine was produced from one of the vines of Aveleda: that of Casal Garcia</p> <p></p>

<p>On the hot plains of the Baixo Alentejo, just a few kilometres from the city of Beja, is one of the oldest wine estates in the region. Its vineyards represent decades of history that Henrique Uva has preserved and farmed for many years and which he always wanted to develop as an independent producer.<br />In 2004, he achieved his dream, with the project that goes by the name of Henrique Uva/Herdade da Mingorra. <p>Founded in 1955, Adega de Borba was the first of a series of wineries settled in the Alentejo region. Nowadays the Adega de Borba brings together 300 associates whose vineyards cover a total area of 2,000 hectares, 70% of which is cultivated with red grape varieties and 30% with white one</p>
