This "Vinha Centenária" comes from one of those vines over 100 years old that resisted and became guardian of the exclusive varieties of the Azores and witness of the traditional encepamento.
Liqueur wine produced on Pico Island. This wine is unique because it is a totally natural fortified wine, without the addition of alcohol (brandy that is added to fortified wines), sugar or yeast. Therefore, its composition depends on the maturation of the grapes, resistance of the yeasts and weather conditions.
